Good value scope mount

I was looking for a solid M1A Scope Mount without breaking the bank. The price was competitive, and I managed to catch a small discount during a holiday sale. It felt like I got good quality for what I paid. The website was easy to navigate to find the sale items.

Amazing M14 Gas Block!

I just installed the Low Profile Gas Block on my M14, and wow, what a difference! It fit perfectly, no issues at all. The quality is top-notch, feels incredibly durable. My rifle's performance improved exactly as I hoped. I will definitely be coming back for more parts for future projects. I've already told my shooting buddies about Sadlak Industries!

Solid parts, slow shipping

I ordered a National Match Spring Guide and an M14 Gas Piston. The parts themselves are excellent quality, just what I expected from Sadlak. Installation was straightforward. My only complaint was that shipping took 5 days to reach Denver, which felt a bit long. Customer service was quick to respond when I asked about the tracking, though. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, but faster delivery would be nice.

Does Sadlak offer a military discount? I'm a vet and always try to support companies that do.

D Dana Kaur 1 month ago
Yep, they do! You just have to verify your service. Got 10% off my last order with it.

They totally have one. It's a standing discount too, not just a one-time thing. Good on them for that.

What's the deal with returns? Like if I buy a scope mount and it just doesn't fit right with my specific rifle setup, can I send it back?

C Chris 1 month ago
Yeah returns were easy, did it last month. Just make sure you haven't installed it yet, that's usually the kicker.

S Sam 1 month ago
They're pretty good about it as long as the part hasn't been installed. Definitely check their policy on the site, but I think you have like 30 days or something.

I heard they have sales around holidays. Is it usually worth waiting for Black Friday or do they just do like 5% off?

B Ben Osei 1 month ago
Black Friday is usually one of their bigger sales. I've seen 10-15% off, sometimes on specific items or bundles. Definitely worth waiting if you can.

They do pretty decent sales, especially for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Not huge doorbusters but a solid 10-15% can save you a good chunk on a scope mount.

Thinking of upgrading my M1A with a Sadlak mount but also looking at Bassett Machine. Anyone have experience comparing the two, especially for a consistent zero?

E Elena 1 month ago
Both are solid. Sadlak is generally considered more robust, especially their steel mounts. Bassett is a good option if you prioritize quick on/off, but some say Sadlak holds zero better long term.

I went Sadlak because of the reputation for rock-solid zero. Never had an issue. Friends who run Bassett like them too, but I feel Sadlak is a bit more 'set it and forget it'.

Hey, thinking about grabbing one of their M1A scope mounts. Are these actual US-made parts or like, just designed here and manufactured overseas?

A Amber 1 month ago
Yeah, totally US-made. They're pretty big on that. I got a gas block from them last year and it was definitely American craftsmanship.

Can confirm, all their stuff is made in the USA. It's one of the main reasons I stick with their parts for my M1A.

Anyone know how long it usually takes to get an order from Sadlak? I'm in California and kinda need a gas piston by next week.

R Renee 1 month ago
Depends on if it's a custom thing or off-the-shelf. Regular parts ship pretty quick, like 3-5 days usually. Custom stuff can take a bit longer, sometimes a couple weeks.

I'm in SoCal, usually get my stuff within a week. I'd order soon if you need it by next week, just to be safe.

Do their parts, specifically the gas blocks, work with standard Springfield Armory M1A rifles? Or are they mostly for custom builds?

R Raj Carter 1 month ago
Oh yeah, totally compatible with Springfield M1As. That's actually one of the main rifles their parts are designed for.

S Sarah 1 month ago
For sure, Sadlak makes parts specifically to upgrade Springfield M1A and M14s. You'll be good to go.
